A short clip from one of our training videos. This workshop introduces students to the Autism Dialogue Approach® which provides therapists, counsellors, coaches and healthcare professionals with the insight, skills and confidence to deepen practice, help achieve mutual understanding and work towards overcoming barriers in autism, ADHD and other neurodiversity relational complexities.

“I wish this training had been part of my counselling training. My training did not equip me to work with neuro-diverse people; instead it prepared me to perceive all my clients through a neuro-normative lens. I had been counselling for around six years before I was formally identified autistic, but even though that has radically altered many of my perspectives, I was, and am, still in thrall to neurotypical ‘ideals’ that I continue to ‘unpick’. So, I am autistic, and I am still profoundly influenced by decades of conditioning to live according to neurotypical ideals. I am trying to imagine non-autistic counsellors’ experience… If I had had this training, I am pretty sure I would have made fewer ‘blunders’ in my work. When I reflect, I feel a deep sense of shock, regret, sadness.
