Showers and a few thunderstorms will exit the region through noon today. A cold front will sweep through the Quad Cities by 9am with all of the rain ending in the east for LaSalle County by 2pm. Temperatures are starting out in the 60s in many spots, but we'll only be in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees by 5pm today.
We'll be much cooler tonight with lows in the 30s. Some frost and fog is possible.
Friday will be cold enough that a few light rain showers could mix with snow for a time. Temperatures will stay in the 40s.
The weekend looks delightful. Yes, it will be cooler than normal. Only around 50 on Saturday, but mid to upper 50s are expected on Sunday.
