The Springfield XDS 9 mm is Richard's everyday carry, EDC. He chose the Springfield XDS 9mm because of its slim profile, comfort, and easy ability to shoot. Richard has been a USCCA member for 3 years. As a Marine, Richard was prepared for his mission in the military but when he transitioned to the civilian world his mission changed. He needed to protect that which is most important to him, his family but he needed different training. He also enjoys teaching others as a USCCA Traning Counselor. He carries a gun to make the fight against criminals as lopsided in his favor as possible so he can survive and protect his family.
