UVic welcomed Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to campus today who provided details on the $2.6 billion in core research grant funding, scholarships and fellowships to support researchers as part of his 2024 budget announcement. His visit included meeting researchers students working on projects focused on integrated energy systems and community partners doing work in energy battery storage and retail-time data for marine operations and coastal communities.
