ArcWear, a Kinectrics company has invested in a new flash fire glove testing instrument that is being developed as an ASTM standard in the ASTM International committee F23.80. This could help in research and development of flame resistant fabrics and gloves for firefighters, chemical workers and workers in combustible dust locations like coal fired power plants and grain facilities.
