I experimented with a variety of different battery powered Christmas lights and so far happy with this brand and another I am going to post tomorrow. I think the light put out is pretty good for being powered by 3 AA batteries. For batteries, there are tons of options for AAs, buying in bulk, lithium, rechargeables, etc. I am using these BeVigor Lithiums and get about 7-10 days of light out of them.
