Edited by IEA Head of Lifestyle Economics Christopher Snowdon, the IEA and EPiCENTER has released this year's edition of the Nanny State Index, which ranks European countries based on their policies on tobacco, alcohol, food & soft drink and vaping.
At the top of this year's list is Turkey, which scored consistently poorly on its openness to the above activities and at the bottom is Germany, which proved to be the freest country on the index.
