Blouberg Municipality harnessed precast-concrete technology to help significantly fast-track the construction of a large grandstand for a community sports and recreational centre that was built in Senwabarwana, Limpopo.
Corestruc and Infinite Consulting Engineers worked alongside Chisa Multi Projects, the principal contractor, and Sizeya Consulting Engineers, which designed and supervised the construction works.
The grandstand was erected in as little as three and a half months. Able to seat 3 500 people, the grandstand was designed by Infinite Consulting Engineers and erected by Corestruc. The companies have jointly built more than 30 precast-concrete grandstands in the country over the years for sports and recreational centres.
