Welcome to the B2 Pai Premier Resort Hotel, Pai, Thailand. We discovered this property while exploring a nearby local afternoon fresh produce market, just a short 2-minute walk away. At first glance, the hotel looked promising with its modern architectural design, boasting 42 rooms, two large pools, and a lush garden—a rare sight amidst the surrounding concrete jungle.
However, our experience fell short of expectations. The resort offers various types of private rooms, including those with scenic mountainous views and others with direct pool access. We opted for a pool access room on the ground floor, anticipating a refreshing dip right outside our door. While the pool area was surrounded by tropical greenery, the deck was rundown and in need of repair. The limited number of loungers were comfortable but scarce; at one point, another guest even attempted to take our belongings to claim one, so keeping an eye on your things is necessary.
The mornings were relatively tranquil by the pool, but the afternoons were a different story. Constant smoking, both cigarettes and marijuana, spoiled what could have been a peaceful spot to relax.
Inside the room, while we appreciated the air conditioning and LCD TV, the layout had its drawbacks. The toilet and shower were visible from the room, which may be uncomfortable for those sharing. The room also included a working table and chair, a small fridge, and a kettle—handy for an early morning coffee on the terrace, especially since breakfast isn’t included and there’s no on-site restaurant.
On a positive note, the free Wi-Fi was reliable and fast throughout the property. However, when we first inquired about prices at reception, they were quite high, so we ended up booking through Agoda, where we found a better deal.
Overall, while the B2 Pai Premier Resort Hotel had potential, several aspects of our stay were disappointing. Links for B2 Pai Premier Resort Hotel and Agoda.com are listed below.
