The Health Ministry recorded 1,109 new Covid 19 cases today, this raised the total to date to 61,861.
There were 1,148 Recoveries today, bringing the cumulative number of recovered cases to 50,204.
There were 2 new deaths reported today, bringing the total death toll to 350.
There are now 11,307 active Covid 19 cases under treatment.
Of the 1,109 new cases reported today, there was 10 imported case, And 1,099 cases were locally transmitted.
Malaysia has finalised an agreement, to purchase 12.8 million doses of Pfizer Inc’s Covid-19 vaccine, that will start to be delivered in the first quarter of next year.
The doses will be enough to vaccinate 6.4 million people, with the initial shipment of one million doses, earmarked for 500,000 frontline health workers.
