Our first Caribbean island stop is Kralendijk Bonaire, and I was massively blown away when I got the first glimpse of the water at the dock. There are pink lakes here from the salt mining which was fascinating to see and learn about. I learned a bit of the native cuisine here which is iguana soup but unfortunately, we had to roll with the direction of our excursion so a basic beach menu it was. I really enjoyed my time in Bonaire though short but sweet. I hope to visit again to try the street foods and scuba dive it's pristine waters.
