Sartana, a bounty hunter and gunfighter, watches a gold shipment being robbed. When he arrives in town, he is met with a lot of dubious looks from the townspeople. He also meets with Samuel Spencer, who appears to be the owner of the business in this town. Because the gold shipments are being stolen, Spencer agrees to employ Sartana to guard the next cargo of gold.
