**Important Update from the German Visa Consulate:**
Dear Students,
Please note the latest update from the German Embassy regarding the blocked account amount. Previously, the required blocked amount was €11,208. The new required amount is now €11,904. The difference of €696 must be added to your account.
Many students have been receiving emails from the embassy requesting payment of the remaining €696 after submitting their visa documents to VFS or the German consulate.
If you choose not to pay the difference, the embassy may issue a visa valid for only 3-6 months. You will then need to extend your visa once you are in Germany.
However, we strongly recommend that our students pay the new blocked amount of €11,904 to secure your visa for 1 year and also to avoid future complications, as securing a visa extension slot in Germany can be very difficult.
Please contact us for further assistance with your blocked account payments and any additional details.
