In May 2008 Peace One Day created it's second feature documentary The Day After Peace. The original (multi award winning) feature ' Peace One Day' told the story of how filmmaker Jeremy Gilley had the idea of Peace Day, how he persuaded the United Nations to pass a new resolution establishing Peace Day in 2001and then the results of the day in it's first year. Those results were wonderful and inspiring since many ordinary people from around the world decided to celebrate Peace Day, but no governments became involved and no ceasefires occurred. Following this Jeremy knew that there had to be a second film that showed the day really working by persuading parties in conflict to put aside their weapons for a day and allow lives to be saved. The Day After Peace has also become a multi award winning film, was broadcast on BBC Storyville twice in September 2008, and has been bought by many countries around the World.
