When we first started the dressage disaster series there is always 1 or 2 Canadian dressage riders from the elite team in the mix. Those riders are set to leave a legacy as we watch the entire elite Canadian dressage roster fail in the dressage ring. Young and old alike, dressage in Canada needs to make better choices and start choosing talent over money.
This year has been exceptional for Canada in terms of dressage disasters, 3 dressage riders have actually fallen off at the Global Dressage Festival. If there ever was an argument against helmets the Canadian riders have ensured that dressage will never return to top hats.
In this video we watch Evi Strasser, Brooke Mancusi, Ally Dunlop and more have an epic equestrian fail one after another.
The bar is so low you can fall off and be on a team as long as you have money.
*Note for Karen - Instead of being mad that I posted, be mad that it happened. No need to worry about my skill level as I have ridden at a higher level than all but one of these riders. I trust that means you think I am qualified to have the opinions that I do and will accept them because of that.
