The first state capture case has fallen apart in court. The accused in the R25 million Nulane Investments trial have been discharged due to insufficient evidence against them. The court ruled that the State had failed to produce enough evidence to show that the Gupta family and their associates were implicated in the alleged laundering of the proceeds of the alleged Nulane fraud.
