Hey guys, Jim here from Import Image Racing, and welcome back to the channel! In this week's video, we're diving into tuning our 2022 Subaru WRX to accommodate our new Process West Stage 1 front mount intercooler. We're aiming for some big numbers, hoping to hit that magical 400 wheel horsepower mark on 93 octane fuel.

Before we get into the details, let's recap what's changed since our last power pack video. We've swapped out the exhaust for a Noble dual titanium setup, switched to 19-inch wheels, and of course, installed the Process West intercooler. Everything else remains the same. Our previous tune, featuring an ETS top mount intercooler, netted us 388 wheel horsepower and 407 wheel ft-lbs of torque.

So, what are my expectations? Well, I'm optimistic about cracking that 400 horsepower mark, while maintaining similar torque numbers as before. Shoutout to Clark Turner for his tuning expertise on our previous setup!

After loading up the new tune onto the Accessport, it's time for the moment of truth. But first, we need to log some parameters and send them off to Clark for review. Once we're cleared, it's time to hit the road and see what this baby can do.

Back from our initial drive, and I can confidently say this car is a ripper! But did we hit our horsepower goal? Drumroll, please... With the Process West intercooler, we achieved an impressive 427 ft-lbs of torque and 407 horsepower! That's a significant improvement, with our dragy test time dropping to 4.22 seconds.

The dyno graphs speak for themselves, showcasing those under the curve gains. And let's talk drivability – it's phenomenal. Smooth starts, no weird issues, and power on demand when you need it. Plus, the cooling efficiency of the new intercooler is top-notch.
