In today's short I discuss why narcissist co-workers spread gossip.

When you work with a narcissist life can be difficult! A narcissist is always a narcissist no matter the setting, and this means a narcissist doesn’t change just because they are at work. When my coworker sabotages me or when my coworker wants me fired, I must look and see what their intentions are. Coworkers trying to get me fired aren’t always narcissists, obviously, but when you know what a narcissist looks like as a co-worker then you can better protect yourself from their actions. Is a narcissist always a narcissist? Yes. Just because they aren’t manipulating and controlling you, it doesn’t mean that they aren’t manipulating and controlling someone else. So what to do when you work with a narcissist? If you know how to beat a narcissist co worker then you can stay one step ahead of them. What is it like to work with a narcissist and how do you know if your coworker is a narcissist? The narcissist as a coworker will sabotage your efforts if they want to control you negatively. However, the narcissist coworker may be nice to other people. They may appear to be a good coworker to someone who they want to control and they feel will benefit them. But if you are onto their game then this is when the narcissist will try to get you fired. So, what to do when you work with a narcissist? Try to not get pulled into their games or try to explain yourself to the narcissist. They don’t care. Document everything and never have conversations with just you and the narcissist. You already know the narcissist is trying to sabotage you so don’t allow them the opportunity to do that without witnesses. Can a narcissist change? Not if they don’t want to and most don’t.
