New Orleans Weather could see records this week, according to Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin.
We were lucky today as a complex of storms rolled in from north LA through the midday and early afternoon hours cooling the western half of the WWL-TV viewing areas from the low 90s to the 70s...MSY went from 93° to 78° within 20 minutes. Areas that saw rain or clouds were slower to rebound back where as the eastern half of the area stayed in the low and mid 90s. Sometimes these complexes of storms are difficult to forecast, and models are split on a disturbance rolling through Tuesday midday and afternoon. Otherwise no real organized rain through the weekend.
