Argentina Plane Crash: Scary Visuals As Jet Goes Down Near San Fernando Airport, Killing 2
On December 18, a Bombardier Challenger 300 aircraft crashed upon landing at San Fernando International Airport, Buenos Aires, killing the pilot and co-pilot. Reportedly, the aircraft veered off the runway, smashed through a perimeter fence, and exploded after hitting houses nearby. Scary visuals show intense flames engulfing the wreckage as firefighters worked to control the blaze. The victims were identified as Martin Fernandez Loza, 46, and Agustin Orforte, 35, with no other occupants onboard. The plane belonged to Jorge Brito, president of the River Plate soccer club, whose father tragically died in a helicopter crash in 2020. Reportedly, the plane was returning from Punta del Este but failed to brake after landing.
