Hello everyone and welcome to my playthrough / let's play of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for Nintendo Switch.

As you learn that the last piece of Origin Metal is located in the Gardin Defense Base you’ll also automatically accept the Side Story: Noah. Begin the Side Story by traveling toward the Fourth Ixia Bridge in the Syra Hovering Reefs.

To reach your objective, follow the Quest path to wrap around and rope slide through the Hovering Reefs to sneak into the base. As you enter, Noah will hear the song performed by his fallen Off-Seeing instructor, Crys.

Now inside the base, cross the Third Ixia Bridge and head to the Main Castle Gate. Approaching the Gate will trigger a cutscene and Crys will ask you to come to the Throne Room. Take the Ascension Hall Elevator that sits due south, then take the elevator at the end of Grace Row.

Upon reaching the Throne Room you'll unsurprisingly have to defeat Consul Crys. The battle with Crys is, relatively speaking, a fairly mundane boss battle but you should look out for the attack, Staccato Shock. Staccato Shock casts a large AOE wave attack that can simultaneously Topple several Characters within the attack radius. Be prepared to mash your sticks to quickly recover from the Topple effect or your team will remain incapacitated and without healing.

In defeating Crys you’ll have collected the sixth and final Origin Metal fragment. Return to the Sentridge Harbor to give the 6x Origin Metal fragments to Samon. Samon will construct and install the Bravery’s engine to complete the ship and this will mark the end of the “The Ultimate Vessel” Standard Quest.
