In partnership with OCP-Africa and RUFORUM, ESAFE is launching a webinar series on biotechnology and agriculture. These webinars are open to all our Sub-Saharian African partners (students and professionals) in this movement of African solidarity and to learn at a distance.
These webinars will take place once a week and will treat subjects related to soil fertility and health, plant/crop nutrition, soil-microbe-plant interactions, fertilizer science and technology, crop improvement, plant breeding, valorization of natural resources, plant protection and topics related to our expertise and research as well as in agribusiness and socio-economy in Agriculture.
On May 21th, 2020 at 2PM (GMT), we are delighted to host Pr. Michel GHANEM for a webinar entitled “Why some crops are “orphan”? Analysis of the perception gaps in the case of taro (Colocasia esculenta)”.
