In this lecture, Dr. Sophia Kremydi (National Hellenic Research Foundation) discusses the Roman provincial coinage produced in the Peloponnese during the Severan period. This analysis draws comparisons between the numismatic iconography produced in Macedonia and the Peloponnese, and uses this information to answer questions concerning civic and regional identity.
