Enter the blind yet powerful businessman, Mr. Jindal (Naseeruddin Shah), who overhears everything. With his own motives, Jindal helps free Vishal, wanting him to take down certain criminal elements in the city, particularly two drug lords, Jibran and Tyson (Gulshan Grover), who Jindal claims are responsible for bringing drugs into the city and corrupting the youth. Initially, Vishal refuses, wanting to live a normal life after just being released from prison. However, the haunting memories of his murdered family push him to agree to Jindal’s plan the next day.
Meanwhile, police inspector Amar Saxena (Akshay Kumar) is displeased with Vishal's release, believing he should still be in jail for the murders he committed. Things get even more complicated when Amar starts suspecting Vishal, as he always seems to be present at the scenes of drug-related murders. Amar is determined to catch him alive.
