The first of 2 great days of racing from the Mid Cornwall Premier MCC at their boarded circuit in Roche, Cornwall. This was the support classes leading up to the 2022 British Clubmans Challenge, and what a start to this 2 day meeting. The Old & New Sidecars were the highlight of the meeting, ending with a sensational final. The almost unbeatable crew in this class of Mark Courtney/Liam Torres came up against the ever improving Liam Brown/Frankie Courtney, and there was certainly no love lost between Father and Son on track. Some spectacular action all through the heats, and a superb final to follow.
Also on show were a whole host of talented youth riders, like Brayden Blyth, Oliver Bovingdon, Thomas Vinning from Guernsey, Kayden Mundy, Zak Batey, and the very quick Charlie Wood.
In the Open Solo event, a mouth watering clash between Charley Powell and the spectacular Chad Wirtzfeld was in prospect. Who would come out on top in the clash of these two very talented youngsters. A small field of GT140s, but some great racing none the less. A great start to this 2 day event, with a thrilling final at the end of the meeting.
