In this video I share with you my first Titanium brew and cook kit purchase, the Tomshoo 750ml Titanium Cup/Pot that is a first step toward reducing the amount of weight I carry when out on day hikes and multiple day backpacking trips. Something I intend to do more of from here on in.

I am not replacing my existing and excellent stainless steel gear as that will be used when wild camping in locations that only need a short walk to the camp location. Horses for course if you will.

I have never used aluminium due to my suspicions regarding it's effects on health which is something I haven't heard connected to titanium.

The plan is to reduce weight on a budget and to seek out tried and tested lightweight options that work and give reliability and value for money over time.

It is all about maximising the enjoyment of the outdoor experience without being a gear slave :)
