Chinese Lunar New Year firecracker celebrations in streets of Boston Chinatown after Parade with lion dance going to restaurants and shops to spread good positive energy and prosperity for everyone after the Boston lion dance parade and stage event. The channel understands that probably many have been waiting patiently for this one. It was not an easy decision but a lot of care was needed to make some tweaks and polish things up until this was ready. And giving the pig the love it deserves. Overall the 2019 Boston Chinese New Year or Tết Nguyên đán Trung Quốc was filled with great weather (not very warm but not too cold either) with lots of sunshine. Lighting up the red firecrackers were also part of the celebration in the streets of Chinatown where many people attended. Along with plenty of lettuce and oranges for the lions. The visiting of business shops, local organizations and Chinese food restaurants made up the lion dance routes as they collect red envelopes, oranges and lettuce to bring prosperity and good luck in the streets of the Chinatown community during Chinese Lunar New Year. Also includes little moments of kids with múa lân lion dance puppets for them to play from gift shop booths outside. 2019 is the year of the Earth Pig 豬年 based on the lunar calendar, which also goes to the first part of the 2020 year and celebrated in Asian countries such as China, Hong Kong & Vietnam and Taiwan regions. This also marks the first published video from the channel for the beginning of the new decade and start of the year. 2020 is year of the Rat and 2022 is the year of the Tiger or con hổ as examples of the animals in the cycle. Those unaware, 2023 will be year of the Rabbit and 2024 will be year of the Dragon according to Chinese Lunar New Year animal cycle.
