Today I take you to Marbo Cave on the northeastern side of the island. Depending on where you park, its an easy, flat, 10-15 walk to both the cave, then past to the cliffs. Once you arrive to the cave, you will descend down a concrete staircase placed there in the 1940s by Japanese military, then maintained by the US military in the 1950s. This cave was used as a freshwater source for the military. Now people enjoy the cool water to swim.
I arrived approximately at 2pm, the sun lit up the rocks, and water emerald green. It's a beautiful sight. Rumor has it there are guided scuba tours here. It is a mossy cave, damp, and you could slip so don't wear flip flops. The cave is much better to explore with a flashlight or lantern.
Don't forget to check out the cliffs to watch the ocean waves crash. I have admired the waves and groups of sea turtles swimming here more than once. Marbo Cave is one of my favorite places to visit in Guam.

I don't live in one place too long! I am a traveling nurse who works in new locations across the world as I find new marinas & yachts to jump on & explore the world above, below, & on the water. I'll expose you to new cultures, foods, scenery, experiences, & environmental problems along the way.
