The Yaesu FT-891 is a small, but mighty, HF plus 50 MHz, full-featured and very capable rig, with a cost point that should make it a top contender for hams on a budget.
Because of it’s small size, where many larger rigs can put many controls up front, the FT-891 has to keep its secrets hidden. This video digs out those secrets so you can use your rig to its, and your full potential.
The standard hand-mic that comes with this rig is the Yaesu FT-891, so the settings described in this video focus on use of those settings.
