These watch reviews that I forgot about in the content flow are called "legacy reviews." Luckily this excellent Casio MTD 1079D watch series is still available. That's a good thing because for its low price it has much to offer. The battery powered illuminator, similar to Timex Indiglo, is fantastic. Add in a manly size, great bezel action, legible day/date, and good case detailing. The bracelet isn't discussed here but it's adequate: hollow link and relatively comfortable. The discontinued (and given away to TNPP) Seiko SNE107P2 Solar Diver is shown for comparison.
This Casio dove the Pacific Ocean well and is a legit diver down to 50 feet no problem.
