This is $ per $ the best scope you can get for a Mosin. Its easy to install, I did it with just a drill press. Friends of mine have just used a cordless drill. Many people try to use plastic stocks or ATI scope mounts and these are just not very good. Poor accuracy and high failure rates are common. This scope however is a tank. Supper tuff, all steel and great optics. I highly recommend it. Plus it won't decrease the value of your gun.
