Creating a freeze frame effect with the frozen subject(s) panning off screen. A little trickier than a static camera shot.
Step involved in After Effects include:
Tracking the scene to a Null Object
Freezing parts of the footage (Time - Freeze Frame)
Attaching the frozen footage to the Null Object
Rotoscoping/masking out the subject
Applying some blur, opacity effects to reveal the frozen footage/subject
And then some colour correction.
