RFC is the standard protocol for system to system communication in SAP and this video provides a brief overview of the security layers available to reduce the risk of cyber attacks in SAP systems. The security layers include SAP security authorizations, RFC, trusted communication, Unified Connectivity, firewalls and user authentication. Enabling the different security layers available to protect RFC security will reduce the overall attack surface and provide stronger cyber security for SAP systems.
