The first caliber variants of the new Norma Bondstrike, a cartridge designed for hunting at extremely long distances, appeared as early as 2019. So it was not surprising that some hunters and long-range shooters wanted the Bondstrike in the popular 6.5 mm long-range calibers.
Norma fulfilled this customer wish and in 2020 introduced the Bondstrike in 6.5x55 SE, 6.5 Creedmoor, 6.5-284 Norma and the 6.5 mm Bondstrike boat-tail bullet for reloaders.
