Michael Pizzi returned to his post Wednesday as mayor of Miami Lakes after a lengthy legal battle.
Pizzi arrived at Miami Lakes Town Hall shortly after 12 p.m. and said he has put the past behind him and is ready to get back to business. "As of right now, this chapter is closed. The Town of Miami Lakes is united behind their mayor, and we're going to move forward, and we're going to build more parks, [we're] going to lower taxes, we're gonna have more community policing. We're gonna beautify the town with more entrance features, and we're gonna deal with infrastructure, and we're gonna help the seniors and the children and special needs residents," he said.
