Starting a Valley Rainger Ditchfeed Lateral in Southern NSW. The Lateral has 20 spans and is 1000m long. The pump unit on the lateral draws water at 300l/s and distributes this through 980 sprinklers.
The lateral is guided via a Trimble RTK GPS guidance system and the channel it travels along will stretch for 11Km.
This machine (one of nine on this site) was installed in 2014 by Pivot Irrigation and Pumping.
