📝 Ingredients for a 9x13 inch pan (more or less) :
5 large eggs
1L buttermilk
175 g brown sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
150 g all-purpose flour
80 g whole-wheat flour
50 g salted butter
500 g pitted prunes
🧑🍳 Preparation
1. Whisk together the buttermilk, eggs, sugar, vanilla until combined. Add the flour and whisk one last time. Don’t forget to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Cover and chill in jar at least 1 hour.
2. Preheat your oven to 200C (390F). Add the butter to your pan and put the pan in the oven for about 5 minutes.
3. Pour the liquid batter over the melted butter in the pan. Sprinkle over the pitted prunes here and there.
4. Bake for about 30 minutes. Then turn off the oven and leave it there for another 30 minutes.
You can eat this warn or cold, with whipped cream or custard. Delicious!
