Sony's Mocopi Quest-compatible VRChat body tracking kit is launching in the US. The $450 set includes six color-coded IMU-based sensors that communicate via Bluetooth with certain smartphones. While there is no integration with PlayStation VR2 yet, the motion data can be relayed to services like VRChat and Unity. The waterproof and dustproof sensors are worn with Velcro bands and a clip. The kit offers a PC-optional full-body tracking system for standalone VR headsets, but its accuracy may face comparison with Valve's SteamVR Tracking system.
