The MH-60R mod by @tanuki4430 is a submod of the UH-60L. The MH-60R is a multi-mission helicopter and one of the primary mission sets is anti submarine warfare or ASW for short. DCS isn't really known for anti submarine warfare simulation and for a long time, didn't really have the appropriate aircraft to do so. Now thanks to this mod, we have phenomenal ASW asset we can fly, we can drop sonobuoys that are visually persistent in the sim, we can hold a hover and use the AN/AQS-22 ALFS dipping sonar, as well as drop MK-46 and MK-54 ASW torpedoes on enemy submarines.

This mission seen here is derived from the ASW mission that ships within the mod, I've changed the start point, the waypoint location, the time of day, and the weather. It still needs tweaking, I realized 4-5 submarines show up at once which confuses things. I'd like to further modify this so it is one submarine and you get vectors to a datum to being prosecution.

The mod is still being actively worked on so stay tuned. Some sonobuoy rework is coming in the future which will make this possibly the most detailed ASW mission/environment in DCS and in any flight sim in general.
