Jafor Iqbal was a legend evergreen stylish Hero of Bangladeshi Cinema. Iqbal was a singer in addition to being an actor. His sister Shahnaz Rahmatullah and brother Anwar Parvez are both singers. His most notable film was Abujh Hridoy (1989) with co-stars Babita and Champa.He was considered a romantic hero in the 1970s and 1980s.

Iqbal was a singer and actor. His playback of the song "Hoy Jodi Badnam" is a Bengali movie song. He also performed some Bangla songs like "Sukhe Thako O Amar Nondini," "Je Bhabey Bachi Beche To Achhi," and "Bidesh Theke Deshe Ele Bhai Bondhu Sobai Bole."

Iqbal worked in over 150 films. 27 April 1991 when Jafor was only 40 years old he was died & bangla cinema lost a powerful actor.
