Germany Awards Charlemagne Prize To Zelensky Amid Russia Vs Ukraine War | Volodymyr Zelensky LIVE
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the people of his country are awarded the International Charlemagne Prize in Aachen on Sunday, May 14.
The event is hosted by Sibylle Keupen, Mayor of the city of Aachen, and will feature speeches by Olaf Scholz, German Federal Chancellor; Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission and Mateusz Morawiecki, Polish Prime Minister. Zelensky will also give a speech as this year's winner.
The Charlemagne Prize has been awarded annually in Aachen since 1950, and is presented to public figures who have rendered services to Europe and European unification.
