RK-Series clamps are heavy-duty mechanical clamps designed for quick, easy and safe transportation of manhole structures. The design is proven by clamps built with over 25 tons capacity for use on large diameter concrete pipe. RK-Series clamps consist of (2) “claws” positioned 180° apart which pinch the straight vertical wall of the pipe, manhole or box. This design eliminates radial pressure allowing safe handling of relatively green product. The clamp is 100% mechanical – no hydraulics – yet the clamp-release sequence is fully automatic and instantaneous.
