Nikon D500 vs Nikon D750 Camera Pros and Cons | Which one to buy?
Should you buy the Nikon D750 or Nikon D500, that's the major question. Personally I think the decision is simple, the Nikon D500 is the way to go. The Nikon D500 may be the best choice for any photographer starting out today. I used to recommend the D750 as the best starting camera but not any longer.
Nikon D750 has a 24.0MP Full frame sensor whereas Nikon D500 has a 21.0MP APS-C sensor. We can expect this to be a close match up because both models are ranked amongst the best in Semi-Pro DSLR cameras. Out of 87 cameras in this class, Nikon D750 is ranked #3 with an overall score of 91 and Nikon D500 is ranked #5 with an overall score of 89.
