Bóthar is a Charity in Ireland that enables families and communities worldwide to overcome hunger and poverty and to restore the environment in a sustainable way. To do this, they specialise in improved livestock production and support related training and community development. Bóthar also educates the public in Ireland about global poverty.
Bóthar's dairy cows have become life saving heroes in many parts of the world. Irish dairy cows will produce up to 20 times as much nutritious milk every day as the average local cow in Uganda, Malawi, and Cameroon.
