In Zimbabwe, civil servants are set to down tools for three days in protest against unpaid salaries. Thousands of doctors and teachers have yet to receive their June wages. The government offered a-hundred-dollar advance -- but many rejected this as insufficient. President Robert Mugabe's administration has proposed staggered pay dates. Suggesting teachers are paid on the 7th of July, followed by healthcare workers and pensioners on the 19th. The government is adamant it's committed to paying employees.
