What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Tacoma: The Tacoma is in a class that barely has any trucks for it anymore, this Tacoma generation hasn't seen a full redesign since 2005, however there has been minor tweaks in the recent years like LED Tailamps and a upgraded infotainment system as well as bluetooth. Power comes from a 2.7 L 4-Cylinder or a 4.0 L V6 through many options through a 5-Speed Manual or Automatic and many more. Is this enough for the Tacoma to compete in this class? Of course it is the Tacoma dominates this class, with way more outdated competitors like the Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon that stopped production in 2013, however you can still find one for the 2012 model year. All in all we think the Tacoma is a smart choice.
