The FIRST Big major Network launch for Channel 9 that I remember from the 1970s.
This promo launched in February 1977 across the 9 Network stations across Australia.
A copy of ABC America's 1976 Network launch .. it was an invitation to viewers to let 9 be the one to turn to. At the time the 7 Network dominated the ratings across Australia.
Within a year 9 was indeed .. number one not just because of this promo invitation but of course the programmes they launched that year .. including "Charlie's Angels" .. but also popular ones returning like "Happy Days" and it's local "National Nine News".
