Calling hours for Sgt. Alex Hamzy - posthumously promoted from officer - were held against the backdrop of crisp fall New England day; a day made warmer by the love that surrounded the Lyceum Banquet Hall in Terryville.
Funeral services are set for both Hamzy and Lt. Dustin DeMonte at Rentschler Field on Friday. FOX61 was told so many people are expected to show up they may run out of seats at the stadium.
