This week, I make a slight return to scorching wood after receiving news from subscriber, Baconsoda ([ Ссылка ]) that his interpretation of my Rune Inspired sapele dish from back in November came second in his local turning clubs competition. Update 6 May: Brendan has just posted this video of his bowl: [ Ссылка ]. Do check it out...it is very good indeed!
And, having fairly recently taken up pyrography, I decided to make a new platter...this time 14.5" in diameter incorporating both my scorching technique and new skill of pyrographing my own Celtic design onto it.
