British and EU negotiators have returned to the table for a final day of talks after working through
the night. Speaking to the House of Commons Brexit Committee, British Brexit minister Stephen
Barclay said draft texts have been submitted for the political declaration on the UK's future
relationship with the EU. He said he was confident a deal could be ratified by Oct 31, when Britain
is due to leave regional bloc. Meanwhile, EU Brexit negotiator Michel Barnier reportedly told the
European Commission that he is "optimistic" a deal can be pushed through by the end of Oct 16.
